The Virginia Burlesque & Sideshow Festival Richmond, VA. Now in its 2nd year, this festival was amazingly successful in 2013, and in 2014 again offers three days of quality performance, workshops, vending and networking for international Neo-Vaudeville artists in historic Richmond, VA. www.virginiaburlesque.com

ABSFest the Americana Burlesque & Sideshow Festival Now in its 8th year, ABSfest is a three day festival of high caliber performance, workshops, vending and networking for international Neo-Vaudeville artists in Asheville, NC. Nominated for Best Performance in the People’s Choice Awards, over two thousand enthusiastic people have attended ABSfest events to date, from as far abroad as Scotland and Japan. www.absfest.com

Bandit Queens Tribal Cafe is a monthly family-friendly bellydance showcase founded in 2013, drawing artists from Florida to NYC to share their skills with audiences in Richmond, VA. www.banditqueens.com

Teatro del Gusto: North Carolina Dinner Circus Cabaret. Onça produces for the Orange Peel a monthly dessert and circus experience for the adults, with music, comedy and daring acts of cirque from aerialists to burlesque. Info at theorangepeel.net

TribOriginal Tribal Dance, Music & Culture Camp: 2006 – 2012. Returning in 2018! For seven years, TribO was an international, four-day, family-friendly, total immersion arts camp held annually in the mountains of North Carolina. This event was nominated for Best Event in the 2007 National Golden Belly Awards and developed an avid following. www.triboriginalcamp.com

Ongoing Local & Regional Events Movement, Culture & Stagecraft workshops held throughout the year, 1999-2014. Many dozens of events to date; highlights include hosting the Yard Dogs Traveling Road Show, Brazilian martial arts masters, Le Serpent Rouge, master drummers from West Africa, fetish events, providing facilities for the Asheville Circus School, and the 2010 multi-city tour ‘Masters of Vaudeville’ with Armitage Shanks.
